Hi! I have been beading for over 15 years. I am now 27. What's there to say? Um I started making beaded earrings like most everyone else, moved onto square stitch and then taught myself peyote. Been making bead patterns the last couple years, mainly those of animals and flowers. I sell them on my website, and just recently on bead-patterns.com Trying to get into making my own glass beads, which I hope I will someday get the hang of.. If I wasn't so busy beading and making bead patterns maybe I would have more time... My favorite things beading: Beaded Boxes, 3D- Items, certain panels or bags or just something I designed especially for me. Finished my First Beaded Box that was made from a pattern I had that I modified using Julia Pretl's instruction as a guideline to bead up. It's about the 8th box I have made now. They take a good amount of time to make, but are very worth it. Anyway, It turned out really well, If I do say so myself, plan to make many more in the future, especially now that I know I can take many other patterns and do the same thing. A Lot of people think because My web site is named Maddiethekat that I am Maddie. But the truth is my site and Design name is named after my adorable little, stick to me like glue, cat Maddie. She just vies for attention, and as I am typing this up right now on my laptop, she is sitting on me and part of my computer, her head on the back of my left hand. She can get away with things like that since she is small, and well cute.  Have another cat named Adam who is Maddie's Brother, although he is more my mom's cat then mine, my sister sorta left him behind when she got married, she didn't want to seperate the two.                                                                                            Maddie                     Adam Oh Yeah, my name is Dawn, for those that have actually read this far. No nickname, unless daughter, or sestra will do.  Sestra being the pronunciation for sister in Russian. Speaking of sisters, just 2 weeks ago my sister Tina (Teena as she likes to write) gave birth to a little baby girl named Daye Abbey Lane. She is the most adorable thing. And strangest. Never had a neice before. She is soooo tiny and makes the silliest little faces, and when she is not sleeping or fussing, but looking around her, taking in the new world, it just the most refreshing thing to behold.      Baby Daye Just Born Well, it's not much, but it is a little insight into Maddiethekat Beaded Jewelry/Designs AKA Dawn Victoria Zietlow.
